Monte Carlo SS runs a "breathtaking" 1/4 mile time of 16.6 @ 81 mph.

This doesn't help me not want one of these.

lol my Crown Vic ran a 16.6 at 85mph.

So inflation adjusted, GM was able to sell the Grand National for under $30k? Yeah. They should go back to doing that.

You have to think of when this was made, in the mid-eighties the big three were still recovering from the gas crisis. The 5.0 was made in response to the fuel crisis and never was a good motor. In the 80's a 16.6 1/4 mile time was pretty good.

I would still take an Aerocoupe with the 305 all day.
